In 1924, Karel Novák bought a plot of land from the Vyšehrad Chapter at the foot of the southern side of the Nusle Valley, on which he built a new sculpture workshop the same year. And thus the history of the Art Garden (Umělecká zahrada) began. This hidden gem that lies beneath the iconic Nusle Bridge is definitey worth a visit!
