The Tisá Walls is a rocky town located west of Bohemian Switzerland, not far from the scenic border with the Ore Mountains. The Tisá Walls are divided into two large sections—Large and Small Walls—through which the sightseeing routes we will explore lead. After exploring the Tisá Walls, we will walk to Děčínský Sněžník, the highest mesa in the Czech Republic. It stands at an altitude of 723 m, with a 33 m high observation tower at its summit, considered one of the most beautiful in the country. From Děčínský Sněžník, we will continue our walk to the city of Děčín.
We return to Dečín around 18.00. We will have a dinner in Dečín and then continue to Prague. We will be in Prauge around 10.30 p.m.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
We recommend comfortable hiking shoes, water, snacks and food for the whole day, fully charged phone, warm and waterproof clothes in case of raining/snowing. It is necessary to have a headlight or another source of light.
MEETING PLACE AND TIME
We meet in the morning at 8:20 a.m. outside the Main train station (Hlavní nádraží), in the park Vrchlického sady in front of Wilsonka pub. We return to Prague at 10.30 p.m.
DIFFICULTY
The hike is hard. The route 21 km long, with mild and steep uphills and downhills, especially in the end of the track. We will be finishing the hike late in the evening, it is essential to have a headlight or another source of light.)
FEE
Early bird price: 850 CZK per person, after 25 May: 950 CZK per person. The fee includes transportation by train and bus, entry to the Tisá Walls area and observation tower of Děčínský Sněžník and services of the skilled and friendly guide (excludes food, drinks, insurance).
