The protected landscape area Bohemian Switzerland (in Czech České Švýcarsko) is a nature reserve about 140 km north of Prague. This time we are making a loop that starts and finishes in Hřensko – the small city which is an entry point to the national park. Together we will discover Pravčická brána, take a Gabriela’s path to the small village of Mezní Louka, from which we will continue back to Hřensko. On the way we will see spectacular rock cities and enjoy a trip on a small boat through romantic gorge at the Kamenice river. Remarkable beauty of the landscape, bizarre rock formations and deep pine forests will not leave you unmoved!
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
We recommend comfortable hiking or running shoes, some water, food, fully charged phone, warm and waterproof clothes in case of raining. Those who are interested, there is a restaurant/fast food at Pravčická brána and at Mezní Louka, where you can have lunch. However, the lunch depends on the speed of the group – bring enough snacks with you for the whole trip.
MEETING PLACE AND TIME
At 7:50 a.m. outside the Main train station (Hlavní nádraží), in the park Vrchlického sady in front of Potrefená husa pub. The train leaves at 8:26 a.m.
DIFFICULTY
The hike is intermediate. The route is 15 km long, with short uphills and stairs at Pravčická brána. Check out our Hiking Difficulty Scale for more information about the difficulty of the hike.
FEE
The fee is 1000 CZK per person. It includes transportation by train, admission fee to the site of Pravčická brána, boat trip at the Kamenice river and services of the skilled and friendly guide (excludes food, drinks, insurance).

For a full refund, cancel at least 72 hours in advance of the start date of the trip. For a 50 % refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the trip.
