We will start our hike in the village of Srbsko. Almost immediately we will find ourselves in a beautiful forest hiding the gurgling stream of Bubovice waterfalls. The path will lead us to the viewpoints revealing industrial scenery of Solvay´s quarry. The quarry was established in 1916 and the mining works started in 1918. During WWII the quarry was expanded and served for German military needs. We will visit the open air museum of the quarries (established in 1993) and take a ride in the museum train. Afterwards, we will continue to the village of Svatý Jan pod Skalou (Saint John under the Cliff). The cliff that rises above the village offers a picturesque view of the village itself and mountains that surround it. We will end our trip in a small brewery in Beroun.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
We recommend comfortable hiking or running shoes, some water, fully charged phone, warm and waterproof clothes in case of raining. We will end our trip in a small brewery in Beroun. You will be able to get warm food there. However, it is recommended to bring some snacks since you might get hungry before we reach the brewery.
MEETING PLACE AND TIME
At 8.00 a.m. outside the Main train station (Hlavní nádraží), in the park Vrchlického sady in front of Potrefená husa pub. The train leaves at 8:21 a.m. We return to Prague around 6 p.m.
DIFFICULTY

FEE
Early bird price: 600 CZK per person, after 1 August: 650 CZK per person. The fee includes train tickets, museum tickets and tickets to the museum train, services of the skilled and friendly guide; excluding food, drinks, insurance.

For a full refund, cancel at least 72 hours in advance of the start date of the trip. For a 50 % refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the trip.
